We just wrapped up our last day in Florence and are resting up before taking a 13 hour (not a typo) train ride to Paris. We’ve seen and done a lot in this beautiful country. Our class visited the historic Villas of the Italian countryside, the hill towns of Sienna and San Giamagnano, completed a [...] Kendall, heres your photo! After visits to Rome’s empirical sites, historic villas, and urban open spaces, we are now back in the studio working on a 3 day charrette project involving the city’s Botanical Gardens. The project consists of revitalizing the historic garden by creating a sense of entry near the Giarbaldi Monument and possibly a promenade to link [...] After a marathon tour of Rome that has included the Pantheon, Roman Forum, Villa Lante, and many of the city’s other gems, I have finally taken a break to recharge.
